The Nautilus – an estate style home built in a prestigious community just outside of Historic Hillsborough in Orange County. Now the flagship home of Collins Design-Build, The Nautilus is over 9,500 under roof square feet. Every single inch of this charming all stucco home is utilized just as our Clients envisioned.

The Interior Architecture style is based around a contemporary design. Very clean lines. Entering through the welcoming all glass front door, one visually feels as if you are still outside. Greeted with stunning natural elements such as an entire wall of stone surrounding a multi-color LED lit remote controlled fireplace in the family room. The family room rear wall is all glass showcasing the amazing back gardens. The main ceilings are twenty-three foot tall.

Premium 5” hardwood flooring throughout, top of the line elevator, professional restaurant grade appliances, a walk-in pantry, all LED lighting, a screened porch with exterior kitchen, wrought iron fenced backyard, natural stone fire pit with accent lighting and irrigation.

Clients 2SL Design Build, Inc. always provide interesting designs for the now JDS Consulting team to engineer. The Whitehead Project was no exception. Due to the dramatic slope on the lot it became clear that in this case it would be more economical to build a steel frame support system with lug footings rather that the traditional masonry or concrete foundation systems used in the area. We are always up for a new challenge and the Whitehead Project has turned out beautifully.
